Little Jane and the Pistol Whips

Formed in the fall of 2008 in Livingston, Montana. Ashly Holland (vocals, guitar, fiddle, accordion) was writing songs and playing solo gigs in the Bozeman area when she met up with Marcus Engstrom (guitar, resophonic guitar) and Jody Engstrom (guitar, mandolin). They began playing around the local scene looking for steady gigs when they asked Russ Smith (bass) to round out their sound. Led by the powerful songwriting of Ashly they stylized their sound after early county (Loretta Lynn) and contemporary Americana (Gillian Welch) and soon found a following. Their first EP, “Room to Roam” was released in April of 2009 with the help of Chris Cunningham from Basecamp Recording. They continue to pull in old songs, originals to form their unique style of Americana music.

The Dirty Shame

Outlaw country and hits from the likes of Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard, The Shame is able to entertain crowds of all ages and walks of life. From heart wrenching ballads to foot stomping honky tonk the music is brought to life with an emotional clarity and a directness sometimes lacking in new music.
